Recall my previous references to the story Flatland, about a world in two dimensions. (See the post Circles). I have discovered a movie about this story, directed by Jeffrey Travis. It is very cleverly made with graphics and it contains narration, as well as voices for the characters. I would recommend anyone to watch this movie as it makes one think and is not difficult to understand, you don’t have to have knowledge of mathematics. All you have to know is that we life in a 3-dimensional world, the rest will be clear through the pictures.
For those of you who are also interested in mathematics, I would recommend first reading the story. The movie shows graphically what is written in the story, but all the explanations are not as clear or mathematical.
